Jo Ann Camm joined the Law Offices of Dawn S. Veltman in 2018. Ms. Camm obtained her Juris Doctor, cum laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in May 2005. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Governmental Administration with a concentration in Legal Studies at Christopher Newport University in December 1997. Ms. Camm was admitted to the Maryland Bar in October 2008. She has been a Maryland resident since 2005. Ms. Camm worked as a contractor for the Department of Justice Housing and Civil Enforcement Section from 2007-2009 assisting attorneys in enforcing the Fair Housing Act and other federal laws. Ms. Camm started a solo practice in 2009 focusing on family law and personal injury cases. Ms. Camm dedicated countless hours to the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service program as a private attorney handling family law cases for low-income families. She has litigated highly contested divorce and custody cases in Maryland courts. Ms. Camm has won over $500,000 in settlements for personal injury clients in her solo practice.
